Discovery Private Tour in brief

Day 1: Fly to Siem Reap

Days 2-3: Siem Reap

Arrive and transfer to HanumanAlaya for a 2-night stay. The following day take a tour of the temples with a private driver and guide. (B)

Day 4: Temple safari

Temple safari (available Oct – Apr) to the remote temple of Phnom Kulen. Overnight in a luxury tented camp. (B, L, D)

Days 5-6: Siem Reap

Return to Siem Reap. The following day is at leisure. Stay at the HanumanAlaya for 2 nights. (B)

Day 7: Battambang

Early morning drive to the Ang Trapeang Thmor crane sanctuary for birdwatching. Continue to Battambang and stay at the Bambu Hotel for 2 nights. (B, L)

Day 8: Battambang

Visit Wat Banan, Wat Ek Phnom and Battambang Museum. (B)

Day 9: Phnom Penh

Morning drive to Phnom Penh. En route, visit the floating village of Kompong Luong and the pottery-making village of Kampong Chhnang (time permitting). Stay at the Samsara Villa hotel for 2 nights. (B)

Day 10: Phnom Penh

Visit the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, the National Museum, the Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide and the Killing Fields. (B, L)

Days 11-13: Cardamom mountains

Drive to Tatai in the Cardamom mountains and transfer to the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge for 3 nights. Excursions to a fishing village, a kayak trip through the mangroves and a visit to the beautiful Tatai waterfall. (B, L, D)

Day 14: Phnom Penh

Return to Phnom Penh and stay overnight at the Samsara Villa hotel. (B)

Days 15-16: Fly home
