Travel through the southern Vietnamese countryside to visit the Cu Chi tunnels. Afternoon city tour. (B, L)
Drive out to Vinh Long in the Mekong delta, where there is the option to cycle through the countryside. Afternoon boat trip to Can Tho, with stops en route at riverside villages and artisanal workshops. Stay at the riverside Victoria Can Tho Resort for 2 nights. (B, L)
Early morning boat excursion to the Cai Rang floating market, where numerous small boats sell fresh seasonal produce from the delta, including fish, exotic fruits and cut-flowers. Continue into the countryside for a walking tour of villages and orchards. Afternoon at leisure. (B)
Head north towards the border with Cambodia to Chau Doc, visiting the Tra Su Bird Sanctuary en route. Visit a local fish farming community who make their living off the delta, then continue to the riverside Victoria Chau Doc Hotel. (B)
Morning cruise on the Hau river to the Cambodian border. After border formalities, continue cruising to Phnom Penh, where the Hau meets the Mekong. Transfer to La Rose Boutique Hotel for a 2-night stay. (B)
Full-day city tour, including visits to the Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide and the Choeung Ek Killing Fields, the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum. (B, L)

Full-day tour of the temples. In the morning visit the magnificent Angkor Wat. In the afternoon explore the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Bayon temple.
