The Anawrahta is named after the founder of the Burmese nation, King Anawrahta, who introduced and spread the religion of Theravada Buddhism in the country. Built to resemble a British colonial paddle steamer, this elegant 65-metre-long (214ft) vessel features three spacious decks and 23 cabins. With its gleaming white rails, polished lacquer, intricately carved woodwork and shining brass, the Anawrahta takes guests back to an era of bygone elegance. Facilities include a bar, restaurant, lounge, sun deck with pool and a spa.
