The Abai Jungle Lodge is set in the isolated, wildlife rich Abai region on the Kinabatangan River, and only accessible by boat. Nestled amidst the jungle canopy just a stone’s throw from the river, the property’s guestrooms are situated within wooden pavilions connected by boardwalks. Accommodation is simple, with no air conditioning, but rooms are bright, clean and comfortable. The lodge is ecologically conscious, utilising low emission generators and rainwater collected in cisterns above the chalets.
