"I very much enjoyed the talks by William Taylor and our guide Hamdi, who were both very knowledgeable. Istanbul is a buzzy place with great scenery, history and interesting people & visitors. To see the city and its surroundings placed in perspective was very insightful. I learned a lot, from Rev'd Taylor and Hamdi and also the other party members. I am looking forward to going back to Istanbul in the future.

"Really hard to pick just one. Predictably, the cathedral in Córdoba, the Alcazar in Seville and the astonishing Alhambra Palace complex in Granada, in terms of visits. The fragrance of orange blossom on the streets was sublime. The kindness and warmth of people we met.

"I have nothing but praise for this tour. I was travelling with my elderly mother and we both had the most fantastic time. The group gelled very well and we all had similar interests. Our guide (Sami) was superb. His knowledge of the subject was boundless. The coach drivers were both superb especially Hassan who managed to negotiate the roads in an exemplary manner.

"Walking in the snow at the bottom of the mid Atlantic Ridge, with the Eur-Asian tectonic plate on one side and the American plate on the other side of the valley. Also seeing the Northern Lights was an absolutely amazing, primeval experience, which ranked with seeing Wolves, Bears and Buffaloes in the wild in Yellowstone on a different adventure. Always wanted to do this, along with walking through a real Arctic storm, which we did.

"Early morning walks around the Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia, before the crowds. Meeting Father Ian Sherwood. In general, becoming aware of the tragedies affected the disenfranchised minorities in the Middle East & Central Asia, and how they are related to their shared religious and cultural histories.

"Travelling on the Moscow Metro and seeing the amazing decoration of the stations fulfilled one of my longstanding ambitions.

"The tour leader/speaker, Colin Bailey, provided many an inspirational moment. He was truly excellent; knowledgeable, inspiring, passionate, very considerate and helpful at all times.
Mr Peter Newman"
"The content of the tour was excellent as were the tour leader and local guide. We very much enjoyed the experience and learnt a lot about the artists and times in which they worked. It was wonderful to visit an Italian stately home and have a private tour by the owner who was very kind and welcoming.

"Full marks!

"The visit to Gallipolli was very moving and thought provoking. The cemetery at Anzac cove and the inscription of Ataturk's words will live in our memories for a long time.
