Logrono is the capital of the province La Rioja and is located at the mouth of the river Iregua, in the Iregua valley to the east of the river Ebro. It is a city rich in history and tradition which has been preserved since the Middle Ages, and is a stop on the Pilgrim’s Route to Santiago de Compostela. Logrono is famous for its food, clothes and shoe shops and is well known for its gastronomy with some very good restaurants and tapas bars.
