Ljubljana

Ljubljana The capital of Slovenia has been coveted over the centuries by Celts, Illyrians, Romans and finally the Slavs, who have all left their mark. At the heart of Ljubljana is the beautiful Old Town, with medieval buildings overlooked by the city’s hilltop castle. The embankment of the Ljubljanica river is a pleasant place to stroll or enjoy a drink in one of the many outdoor cafes. From Castle Hill you can enjoy views across the Julian Alps and the imposing Mount Triglav.
