This morning, tour some of the highlights of
St Petersburg including the city's main street,
Nevsky Prospekt, the Admiralty buildings, the
immense Kazan Cathedral, the glittering domes
of the Church of Our Saviour on Spilled Blood
and Anichkov Bridge. In the afternoon, visit
Peter and Paul Fortress, the original citadel and
a museum. (B)
After breakfast, spend the morning admiring
the art collections in the Hermitage museum,
which houses an enormous array of treasures
and artwork by great masters. Your guide will
ensure that you see the best of the exhibits.

Today, travel to the town of Pushkin just
outside St Petersburg for a guided tour of
Catherine Palace. Marvel at the opulence
of this immense rococo palace and visit the
legendary Amber Room, which famously
disappeared during the second world war and
has only recently been reconstructed. (B)

airport and fly to London. (B)
