Luxury hotels in Russia

In a city which has one of the largest numbers of billionaire residents in the world, you can find some of the best hotels in Moscow. Many of the major chain hotels are represented here, including the likes of the glamorous Ritz Carlton and the Swissotel Krasnye Holmy.

As a visitor, you will find that room rates are considerably cheaper at weekends than mid-week, when they are often almost double in price.

St Petersburg has an equally magnificent array of hotels including such well-established chains as the Belmond Grand Hotel Europe and the Four Seasons. St Petersburg also offers more boutique options such as the Taleon Imperial, a former tsarist-era palace, and the Official State Hermitage Hotel, converted from a merchant’s home into a 5-star property.
