Viscri holidays

Viscri is part of a series of five small villages which are located in Brasov County, each of which contain excellent examples of a Romanian fortified church. It is due to these fortified churches that these villages have been designated as a Unesco world heritage site. The purchase of an 18th-century Saxon farmhouse by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2006 to promote eco-tourism has encouraged tourism to the village.
