The two small countries of North Macedonia
and Kosovo remain relatively undiscovered,
but they have a lot to offer travellers willing

ancient land offering a heady mix of Greek,
Roman and Ottoman heritage, while Kosovo
is a proud new nation recently reborn from
war, with spectacular mountain scenery,
attractive old towns and a gritty capital city
with a buzzing cafe scene.
