Lake Como Located in the Lombardy region of northern Italy, Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe with a depth of over 400 metres. The Lake is best known for its historic villas, amongst the most renowned being Villa Carlotta at Tremezzo, Villa d’Este at Cernobbio and the Villa Serbelloni at Bellagio.
