"The historical knowledge that Professor Robin Cormac, our UK guide, shared with us brought Ravenna alive.
Mrs Josephine Rednall"
"The visit to the Moscow Kremlin and Armoury was inspirational. The walk around the grounds, the churches, bell tower, gardens, tomb of the unknown soldier followed by a visit to the Armoury was amazing.
Mrs Jacqueline Rule"
"It is always inspiring to become acquainted with other cultures, and to see for oneself places known of through literature and other reportage media. Our experience of Russia was quite different from the present coverage in press. We were not particularly noticeable or significantly different from the generality of Russians. Perhaps the most pleasing moment was having supper in the restaurant of the National Hotel in Moscow, overlooking Red Square and St Basil's Cathedral. We couldn't have been positioned for a more iconic view, and the surroundings were sumptuous.
Ms Rosalind Lavington"
"It was a marvellous tour and a very good itinerary.
Ms Eamits"
"It's difficult to pick an individual moment. The whole visit was so exceptionally interesting, demanding, informative, thought-provoking... The boat trip on the Neva was dramatic and evocative, the view across St Petersburg (I felt I could see all the way to the Baltic) on the first evening from the hotel restaurant on the 9th floor, the Faberge eggs.... all the places were stunning in different ways.
Mrs Barbara Minovi"
"We enjoyed it all. Kyrenia was a beautiful town but we were very impressed with the walking tours of Farmagusta and Nicosia.
Mrs Maureen Cooke"
"The phenomenal enthusiasm and knowledge of both our guides, especially Violetta in Moscow who was brilliantly informative, enthusiastic and could not have been better. We also thoroughly appreciated the knowledge of our guide Teddy in St Petersburg.
Mrs Meryl Deane"
"The visit to Gallipolli was very moving and thought provoking. The cemetery at Anzac cove and the inscription of Ataturk's words will live in our memories for a long time.
Mr Gordon Warwick"
"We would like to thank Cox & Kings for making our 40th wedding anniversary such a memorable occasion.
Mr and Mrs Whitney"
"The Cox & Kings Europe consultant who handled the bookings for our holiday was excellent and made the arrangements extremely efficiently in a pleasant and helpful manner.
Mrs Upton"
"Walking in the snow at the bottom of the mid Atlantic Ridge, with the Eur-Asian tectonic plate on one side and the American plate on the other side of the valley. Also seeing the Northern Lights was an absolutely amazing, primeval experience, which ranked with seeing Wolves, Bears and Buffaloes in the wild in Yellowstone on a different adventure. Always wanted to do this, along with walking through a real Arctic storm, which we did.
Mr Philip Butler"
"Early morning walks around the Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia, before the crowds. Meeting Father Ian Sherwood. In general, becoming aware of the tragedies affected the disenfranchised minorities in the Middle East & Central Asia, and how they are related to their shared religious and cultural histories.
Ms Pamela England"
"In spite of the torrential rain every minute of my stay in Bilbao, this was one of my dreams come true: I finally saw the Guggenheim Museum which I liked very much.
Mrs Sigrid Taylor"
"The tour leader/speaker, Colin Bailey, provided many an inspirational moment. He was truly excellent; knowledgeable, inspiring, passionate, very considerate and helpful at all times.
Mr Peter Newman"
