London to Milan
Depart London St. Pancras by rail for Milan via Paris. Overnight at UNAHOTELS Galles Milano. (N)

Milan to Mantua
Enjoy a morning at leisure to explore Milan, home to the impressive Duomo (Cathedral). In the afternoon, travel by rail to the historic city of Mantua, meet your guide and check in at the historic Hotel Cà Uberti Palace (or similar) for four nights. Enjoy a welcome dinner. (B, D)
Mantua
Spend the morning exploring the historic centre of Mantua, including the imposing Ducal Palace, once the seat of the powerful House of Gonzaga. Conclude the tour with a visit to one of the city’s wine merchants to sample Lombard wine. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day at leisure
Today is yours to spend how you wish. You may wish to catch one of the frequent direct trains from Mantua to the historic city of Modena, situated in the neighbouring region of Emilia-Romagna. (B)
Verona & Lake Garda
Drive to Verona and take in the city’s highlights, including Juliet’s House and Piazza delle Erbe. Conclude by crossing scenic Lake Garda by ferry for a guided tour of Sirmione, a village founded in antiquity and renowned for its impressive medieval fortress. (B, D)
Bassano del Grappa & Asolo
Depart Mantua for a tour of the Prosecco hills, followed by lunch and an opportunity to taste one of the Veneto’s most celebrated exports: sparkling wine. Proceed to Vicenza and check-in at the centrally located Glam Boutique Hotel (or similar) for three nights. (B, L)
Bassano del Grappa to Asolo
Explore Bassano del Grappa in the Alpine foothills. Continue to the walled city of Asolo, first mentioned in the works of the Roman scholar Pliny the Elder, for time at leisure. Conclude the day at one of the region’s celebrated grappa distilleries. (B)
The Villa Emo & Vicenza
Visit the sumptuous, Palladian Villa Emo. In the afternoon, Visit Vicenza’s Olympic Theatre and historical centre. Enjoy a farewell drink with the group. (B)
Turin
Take the train from Vicenza to Turin, where you spend an afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Hotel NH Torino Centro (or similar). (B)
