Nafplio holidays

Also known as Nafplion, the small harbour town of Nafplio is considered by many to be one of the most attractive towns on the mainland. The architecture has been largely influenced by the former Venetian rulers, evident from the neo-classical mansions, elegant townhouses along the narrow streets of the old town and the spectacular Palamidi Fortress. Other highlights of the town include the archaeological museum, Akronafplia Fortress and the nearby island fortress of Bourtzi, located around 600 metres west of the port.
