Originally built in 1896 as the home of Prince Roland Bonaparte, the building was fully restored by the prominent architect Richard Martinet with interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon. The Shangri-La is situated in the 16th arrondissement of Paris offering excellent views of nearby Eiffel Tower, the Seine river, Lourve and the Trocadéro. The hotel has 81 rooms and suites, all designed in a classical contemporary style coupled with modern amenities. Guests may dine at three restaurants. La Bauhinia offers French and Asian cuisine, while L'Abeille features gastronomic French and authentic Cantonese cuisine is available at Shang Palace. Health and well-being facilities include a spa and fitness centre.
