The Imperial Hotel is located in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town at the foot of Toompea Hill. The hotel was built against the town wall in 1877 (which can be seen within the hotel) and was most recently renovated in 2003. The decor is classic and traditional in keeping with the building, and the 32 rooms have modern amenities. The hotel boasts Estonia's first cheese restaurant which serves imaginative dishes in a traditional rustic Estonian setting. They also have a bar with open fires, and sauna and Jacuzzi.
