"The trip overall was a great success, and our thanks go to you and your team for arranging a truly memorable holiday. We will never forget Wolf's Lair nor, of course, Aushwitz and Birkenau. Thanks again, and we look forward to travelling again with your company - indeed, we are in the throes of arranging a trip to India with you.

"In spite of the torrential rain every minute of my stay in Bilbao, this was one of my dreams come true: I finally saw the Guggenheim Museum which I liked very much.

"We enjoyed it all. Kyrenia was a beautiful town but we were very impressed with the walking tours of Farmagusta and Nicosia.

"It is always inspiring to become acquainted with other cultures, and to see for oneself places known of through literature and other reportage media. Our experience of Russia was quite different from the present coverage in press. We were not particularly noticeable or significantly different from the generality of Russians. Perhaps the most pleasing moment was having supper in the restaurant of the National Hotel in Moscow, overlooking Red Square and St Basil's Cathedral. We couldn't have been positioned for a more iconic view, and the surroundings were sumptuous.

"There were lots of highlights, but seeing the Hermitage Gallery in St Petersburg, with its room of paintings by Rembrandt, was magical.

"I very much enjoyed the talks by William Taylor and our guide Hamdi, who were both very knowledgeable. Istanbul is a buzzy place with great scenery, history and interesting people & visitors. To see the city and its surroundings placed in perspective was very insightful. I learned a lot, from Rev'd Taylor and Hamdi and also the other party members. I am looking forward to going back to Istanbul in the future.

"Early morning walks around the Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia, before the crowds. Meeting Father Ian Sherwood. In general, becoming aware of the tragedies affected the disenfranchised minorities in the Middle East & Central Asia, and how they are related to their shared religious and cultural histories.

"There were many highlights on this tour but the tour of Delphi was excellent. With the back drop of the mountains, it was very peaceful and idyllic. The extension in Hydra was brilliant. It was a very relaxing and peaceful island and was ideal way to unwind before the main tour.

"Full marks!

"The whole trip was very informative, enjoyable, not at all rushed, well co-ordinated and totally pleasurable.
Mrs Christine Muir"
"Really hard to pick just one. Predictably, the cathedral in Córdoba, the Alcazar in Seville and the astonishing Alhambra Palace complex in Granada, in terms of visits. The fragrance of orange blossom on the streets was sublime. The kindness and warmth of people we met.

"Walking in the snow at the bottom of the mid Atlantic Ridge, with the Eur-Asian tectonic plate on one side and the American plate on the other side of the valley. Also seeing the Northern Lights was an absolutely amazing, primeval experience, which ranked with seeing Wolves, Bears and Buffaloes in the wild in Yellowstone on a different adventure. Always wanted to do this, along with walking through a real Arctic storm, which we did.
Mr Philip Butler"
"I had a wonderful time on your Classical Greece Tour. It exceeded all my expectations. The itinerary was well thought out and included the most important sites of mainland Greece. The hotels were in excellent positions for exploring the sites and museums. Our tour guide, Marina, was amazing. Her personality was delightful. She was entertaining and her knowledge of the history and mythology of ancient Greece was truly remarkable; her passion for the places we visited brought them to life. It was a truly unforgettable experience. I had the best time ever! Thank you Cox & Kings.

"There were so many highlights it is hard to mention just one. The visit to the gold treasury in the Hermitage was a highlight.
