Standard Private Tour in brief

Day 1: Chihuahua

Begin in Chihuahua in the north. Visit Pancho Villa’s former home and the Museum of Revolution and stay overnight. (N)

Day 2: Creel

Drive to Creel for an overnight stay, visiting via a Mennonite comunity en-route. (B)

Days 3-4: Copper Canyon

Board the Chihuahua Pacific Express train to the stunning Copper Canyon. Stay at Posada Barrancas Mirador. Visit the Divisadero outlook, with pure, crisp, clean air and incredible views across the Urique canyon, the deepest of the canyons in the area. (B, D)

Day 5: El Fuerte

Descend by train through the Sierra Madre mountains to El Fuerte. (B)

Day 6: La Paz

Time at leisure to explore El Fuerte. Drive to Los Mochis and take an overnight ferry (private cabin with air conditioning) across the Sea of Cortez to La Paz. (B)

Days 7-8: La Paz

Arrive in La Paz for a 2 night stay. Take a boat trip to Espiritu Santo island to spot sea lions and blue whales (Jan – Mar). (B)

Days 9-11: Baja peninsula

Continue through the rugged desert to Los Cabos or picturesque Todos Santos and relax on the coast for 2 nights. Extend your stay further, or continue your journey in Mexico. (B)
