Here, the rainforest is home to howler monkeys and armadillos, while superb birdlife includes toucans, trogons, falcons and parrots. Within this area, the Mountain Pine Ridge forests are spread over an area dotted with waterfalls and caves. Stay in a lodge and explore the region by hiking, horse riding, cycling or canoeing.
