Accommodation rating: Luxury
Located on the north-west coast on one of Barbados' quietest beaches, Cobblers Cove combines the quaint elegance of an English country house with lush tropical beauty, turquoise waters and local island charm. The property has an intimate, informal atmosphere and just 40 air-conditioned suites, mostly one-bedroom and dotted around the grounds surrounding the original house, either in the gardens, near the beach or overlooking the ocean. All the suites blend immaculate colonial decor with understated luxury and open onto a private terrace with views of the gardens or the sea. Located within the original house, the Camelot and Colleton suites are the height of luxury, with marble floors, four-poster beds and exquisite rooftop terraces with private plunge pools.
Located on the edge of the beach, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the restaurant serves multi-award-winning cuisine, complemented by an extensive wine list. Cobblers Cove has an array of amenities including a swimming pool, spa rooms offering holistic treatments and beauty therapies, complimentary snorkelling equipment to explore the expansive reef just offshore, and traditional tea served on the drawing room patio. The beach, with its white sand, is the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun while the calm waters are excellent for swimming. The property is also within walking distance of historic Speightstown and a short drive from Barbados Wildlife Reserve.
A mandatory room rate levy of BDS35 per room per night is payable locally at the hotel.
