"Walking in the snow at the bottom of the mid Atlantic Ridge, with the Eur-Asian tectonic plate on one side and the American plate on the other side of the valley. Also seeing the Northern Lights was an absolutely amazing, primeval experience, which ranked with seeing Wolves, Bears and Buffaloes in the wild in Yellowstone on a different adventure. Always wanted to do this, along with walking through a real Arctic storm, which we did.

"We have just returned from the most amazing trip to Peru. The highlight of the holiday was without doubt walking the Inca trail. What an experience. I wanted to thank you for all your help and advice. The itinerary you prepared for us was perfect.

"Going to Varanasi which is a unique experience - an amazing combination of devout faith coupled with the madness that is India.
Mrs Anneke Berrill"
"Most inspirational moment - Khiva - beautiful and unexpected although the people came close: friendly, interested proud of their country. Discussing jewellery, children and husbands with ladies selling bread in the market, and not a word of a common language between us, but we communicated just fine!
Mrs Jane Laver"
"Varanasi is an assault on all senses - people, sound, noise smell, colour - and it is also a very spiritual place despite the huge crowds. Unmissable.
Mrs Christine Love"
"Although the rock churches of Lalibela were particularly impressive, it was the overall balance of sights that impressed us: the stelae of Axum and the castles of Gondar plus the magnificence of the Simien Mountains and Lake Tana.
Mr Roger Darlington"
"Loved the variety included in the holiday and the visit to Machu Picchu will never be forgotten.
Mrs Carole Wilson"
"Registan Square in Samarkand - The sight was so extraordinarily beautiful it took our breath away, and we all stood silent for several minutes, just taking in the scene. I think this site is one of the wonders of the world.
Dr. Eva Simmons"
"The whole holiday was a fantastic experience, made especially so firstly by the fantastic guide, and secondly by the wonderful company of your other guests.
