Silky Oaks Lodge is situated in the world heritage-listed Daintree rainforest, on the northern bank of the Mossman river. Surrounded by lush rainforest, just downstream from Mossman gorge and 20 minutes' drive from Port Douglas, the property is a perfect way to experience the tropical rainforest in style. The property has 36 treehouses, riverhouses and suites. Treehouses are set beside the rainforest and surrounded by natural gardens, each with a large bathroom and spa bath, and a private veranda with a hammock. Riverhouses are in riverfront locations, with rainforest views and a spa bath. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, spa and car parking. Stays include breakfast daily, selected guided nature walks, a complimentary transfer service once a day to / from Port Douglas, tennis, bicycles, canoeing and snorkelling in the Mossman river.
