Pumphouse Point is a boutique property located in the world heritage wilderness of Tasmania between Hobart and Strahan. It features a converted hydroelectric pump station that reaches 250 metres out into Lake St Clair and a house on the shores of the lake. The minimalist accommodation is decorated in a modern style and each room features a larder filled with local produce for purchase. There is no restaurant, however guests can join a shared table for dinner.

Please note: Pumphouse Point is located within a national park and the Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service requires that visitors obtain a pass when visiting Tasmania's National Parks. These can be purchased online at www.parks.tas.gov.au, at Cynthia Bay Visitors Centre or directly from Pumphouse Point reception. Passes are A$24.00 (per vehicle) and are valid for your entire stay, no matter the duration. All proceeds from these passes go back into preserving the parks.
