Napier Located in the Hawke’s Bay wine region, Napier is a coastal town renowned for its 1930s art deco architecture and Mediterranean climate with more than 2,000 hours of sunshine a year. It make an ideal base for exploring the nearby wineries of this pretty region, as well as Cape Kidnappers, home to the world’s largest mainland gannet colony.
