The James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor is located in the centre of Wellington, a short distance from the Cable Car, Parliament, Lambton Quay's shopping district and nearby to Te Papa & Westpac Stadium. Room amenities: Air conditioning, cable television, tea & coffee facilities, minibar, shower & bath, hairdryer, Wi-Fi. Please note: Work will commence to replace all seven lifts from the beginning of July 2017 through to mid-2018. The schedule has allowed at least one working elevator for each hotel wing for the duration so all floors will still be accessible by guests. However, please note that some delays may be expected during peak times. From July to late November 2017, guestrooms affected will be the Lambton, Premium, and Club King & Suites. From late 2017 to mid-2018, guestrooms affected will be the Terrace & Family rooms. We have been assured by supplier that disruption will be kept to a minimum.
