Linked to the mainland by a permanent bridge, Phillip Island is one of the best places in Australia to view native wildlife. It is best known for its little penguins, which emerge from the surf in their hundreds each evening, making their way home to their burrows after a day of fishing. In addition to the penguins, it is also possible to visit a protected koala colony and take a cruise to seal rock in search of fur seals.

"We planned the trip with Cox & Kings over an extended period and the whole experience surpassed anything that we could have imagined. We have never been treated so courteously, professionally and enthusiastically. It was truly a holiday of a lifetime."
