Pick up your hire car at the airport and drive to Lenna of Hobart hotel for a 2-night stay. This property has a great location close to the fashionable area of Salamanca Place, home to Australia's outdoor market and many popular eateries. (N)
Enjoy an included tour to Bruny Island to experience the rich marine life found in the surrounding waters or to sample some of the gourmet food produced on the Island. (N)
Drive to the East Coast and along Tasmania's Great Eastern Drive to Freycinet Peninsula with a stop at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary en route. At the Sanctuary enjoy a private 45 minute tour to meet some of the furry residents such as wombats and Tasmanian Devils. Continue on to Freycinet Retreat for a 2 night stay in a self-contained studio. (N)
This morning take a cruise along the Freycinet peninsula. Sail through the tranquil waters while looking out for wildlife, and stop for lunch at Wineglass Bay. Afternoon at leisure. (B, L)
