Overlooking the Marina and Corlette Beach in Port Stephens, the Anchorage Port Stephens is a boutique property with a traditional feel. The 80 rooms all have light decor and their own balcony or veranda. The hotel has a restaurant, snack bar, heated outdoor swimming pool, spa and billiard table. The hotel will commence a refurbishment on 1 May, which is expected to be completed by 15 December 2015. The Glover accommodation building will be closed off so that guestrooms can undergo extensive refurbishment including replacing bathtubs, showers, carpet, furniture, fixtures and fittings. In addition, the Main House including reception, guest's lounge and Captain's Bar will be upgraded in sections. Merretts Restaurant will also be closed and relocated to the resort's upper level. During this time, breakfast service will be available in The Gallery Kitchen. Work is expected to be carried out from Monday to Friday.
