The best time to visit Uganda depends on where you are planning to travel. The rainy seasons in the south are from April to May and October to November, with April typically being the wettest month. In the north, the wet season is from April to October and the dry season is from November to March.
Most of the country has the same tropical climate, with temperatures averaging 26C during the day and 6C at night. The hottest months are from December to February. Humidity is generally low outside the wet season.
Whenever you do decide to travel, be sure to ask your travel consultant about the availability of gorilla permits – during the tourist high seasons of June to August and December to February these can especially be booked out far in advance.
