Ndali Lodge is set in spectacular surroundings in the Bunyaruguru Crater Field. These volcanic craters were formed 11,000 years ago and have filled with water over the ages to form serene lakes. The lodge sits on a narrow ridge with superb views of the ancient volcanic landscape. Eight thatched bandas provide en suite bathrooms, private verandas and plenty of privacy, with views across to the Rwenzori Mountains and Queen Elizabeth National Park. The lodge does have hot and cold running water; however, all lighting is by candle or storm lantern. In the evenings, the dining room is festooned with candles. Activities include chimpanzee tracking and birding in the Kibale Forest as well as walks in the Bigodi Swamp.
