The lodge makes an ideal base for experiencing gorilla tracking and exploring the depths of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. With more bird species per square kilometre than anywhere else in the world, the area is a paradise for bird enthusiasts. A panoramic terrace wraps around the front of the lodge’s main building, from which you can take in the sounds of the river and views of the forest; mountain gorillas occasionally come close to the lodge boundaries, so guests should keep their eyes peeled. The spacious rooms and suites are thoughtfully designed and all have double doors leading to a private terrace with impressive forest views.
