Little Chem Chem is located on the eastern side of the 20,000-hectare Chem Chem Concession, adjoining the Tarangire National Park within the 'migration corridor' that separates the ancient landscape of Tarangire National Park and the tranquil waters of Lake Manyara. It is part of the Burunge Wildlife Management Area, known for its large buffalo population and wide variety of water birds. The atmosphere at Little Chem Chem is welcoming, elegant and oozing authenticity of a bygone era. Known as the sunrise camp, Little Chem Chem is situated on the edge of an acacia forest. The camp is surrounded by the characteristic landscape of the Tarangire river with its impressive baobab trees and overlooks the freshwater lake, Lake Burunge. Activities include open 4x4 day and night wildlife drives (maximum 6 people) in Tarangire National Park (Lake Manyara to be pre-booked) and walking safaris on the concession.
