Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge is set high on a hill with magnificent vistas of sweeping grasslands and the unspoiled wilderness landscape of the Serengeti plains. The Serengeti is a natural paradise and home to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth – the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle. The lodge is inspired by a traditional African village, with separate ‘rondavel’ huts housing the stylish guest rooms. A delightful water feature runs through the main public areas and guests are welcomed through the open corridors by rich African carvings and high roofs. The lodge also has a boutique where curios, clothes and a variety of other items can be purchased. There are 66 rooms, all with en suite showers and a private balcony. The uniquely crafted bedroom units maximize the use of local materials in order to blend in with the surroundings. The lodge offers morning and afternoon game drives and, when not out exploring, guests can relax at the swimming pool which offers vast panoramic views of the plains below.
