Olakira Camp is an intimate and comfortable mobile camp in the Serengeti, which follows the migration in this prime wildlife area. Typically the camp will be in the Ndutu area from mid December to March to witness the calving season of the wildebeest in the southern Serengeti area. From June onwards the camp moves north to follow the migration staying in the central Serengeti area for the rest of the season. However, the camp always adapts to the migratory patterns, moving to where the best chance of sightings are.
The camp itself offers 6 fully furnished guest tents with large king-size or twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and an environmentally friendly toilet. Each tent has its own private veranda with a view overlooking the Serengeti and with only a lounge tent and a dinner tent to complete the setting, Olakira provides an exclusive and intimate safari experience under canvas.
