Fly to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Fly overnight from London (regional connections available) to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe via Johannesburg, South Africa. (N)

Take a private guided tour of Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (‘The Smoke That Thunders’). This is the largest sheet of falling water in the world. Its foam-white cataracts plunge some 108 metres into a basalt chasm, stirring up great veils of mist that split the African sun into rainbows. Afterwards, head to the Elephant Walk shopping centre and art village for a behind-the-scenes visit of Ndau Studio, creators of jewellery and leather accessories. (B)

Cross the border into Botswana, before driving into Chobe National Park for a classic safari drive. Encompassing sweeping plains, dense forests and riverine habitats, Chobe National Park hosts one of Africa’s greatest concentrations of grazing animals, including over 100,000 elephants.
