Pumba Private Game Reserve South Africa is famous for its game viewing and the ‘malaria free’ Eastern Cape offers an excellent safari option. Set against the backdrop of the Eastern Cape’s beautiful landscape of thornveldt, grassland, thicket and forest, amid 6,000 hectares of countryside, Pumba Private Game Reserve offers a chance to look for the ‘Big Five’ of lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant and for the bird lovers there are over 300 different species of birds. Pumba is also the first of the Eastern Cape Game reserves to introduce a white lion breeding programme.
