You may wish to rise early and join an optional
meerkat viewing excursion, before driving east
to Christiana Lodge, near Plettenburg Bay,

Days at leisure to explore the Garden Route’s
stretch of picture-postcard beaches, lakes,
rivers, indigenous forests and impressive
mountain passes. Other activities include
boat trips to spot whales and dolphins around

Continue east to Port Elizabeth, where you
will drop off your hire car before transferring
to Woodbury Lodge in the Amakhala Private
