Day 2: Cape TownOn arrival, you will be met by our VIP meet and greet service before transferring to Four Rosmead for a 4-night stay. (N)
Day 3: Cape TownAt leisure to relax and roam this cosmopolitan city or choose from a large selection of optional excursions. Possible activities include a boat trip to Robben Island, a cable car up Table Mountain and a fascinating and rewarding visit to the township of Langa. (B)
Days 4-5: Cape TownYour premium package category B car hire will be delivered in the morning and you then have 2 days at leisure to explore the surrounds of the city. Popular day trips include the Cape of Good Hope, the naval base at Simon’s Town and Boulders Beach, home to a large colony of African penguins. (B)
Day 6: FranschhoekDrive the short distance to Franschhoek, home to some of the world’s most popular wineries. Stay at Mont d’Or Franschhoek for the next 3 nights. (B)
Days 7-8: FranschhoekAt leisure to enjoy the stunning surrounds or join optional excursions including a wide selection of wine tasting and culinary experiences. (B)
Day 9: HermanusDrive south to Hermanus and stay 2 nights at the stunningly located Marine Hotel. (B)
Day 10: HermanusBetween June and November, this slow-paced coastal town becomes a hive of activity as huge numbers of southern right whales arrive from Antarctica’s icy waters to calve and mate. With humpbacks and great white sharks also packing the surrounding bays, Hermanus soon transforms into one of the world’s best locations for land- and sea-based whale and shark watching. Outside of whale season the town still offers beautiful coastal walks and laid-back living. (B)
Day 11: Sanbona Wildlife ReserveDrive to the Sanbona Wildlife Reserve, where you will leave your car at a welcome lodge before being transferred to Tilney Manor for a 2-night stay. A host of safari activities are included during your stay, such as wildlife drives, guided nature walks, rock art visits and boat safaris. (B, L, D)
Day 12: Sanbona Wildlife ReserveMorning and afternoon safari activities. Possible wildlife sightings include the ‘Big Five’ and the only free ranging white lions in South Africa. (B, L, D)
Day 13: Fly to LondonDepending on your flight time, you may have the opportunity for a morning safari activity before transferring back to the welcome lodge to collect your car. Drive to Cape Town Airport for your flight to London. (B)
