Three Trees at Spioenkop is a colonial Natal farmhouse capturing a turn-of-the-century ambience and an old-world charm. Overlooking the spectacular secluded valley of the Spioenkop Game Reserve, the expanses of pristine willdife-rich wilderness provides the perfect backdrop to discover the history of bygone battlefields and Anglo-Boer sites. Seven rooms and a cottage, each with private decks, are tastefully furnished with locally made linens and feature antique sash windows, wood panelling and corrugated iron exteriors. The main areas offer comfortable sofas where you can immerse yourself in the history of the region. Communal meals are served on the wrap-around verandas, or indoors around a blazing fire in cooler months. The swimming pool and deck offer stunning views towards the Drakensberg mountains.
