Singita Ebony Lodge is located on 180 sq km of private land in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, on the western border of Kruger National Park. It is approximately 5 hours 30 minutes by road from Johannesburg, although Federal Air offers a daily direct flight to Singita Sabi Sands from Johannesburg as well as air transfers to and from Kruger Mpumalanga International airport. The road journey from Nelspruit is approximately 150km and will take 2 hours.
Set among the giant trees of its namesake, this colonial-style lodge features 12 luxurious double suites, on the banks of the Sand river. All suites offer air conditioning, a double-sided fireplace, cosy lounge area, bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, a private swimming pool and secluded wildlife viewing deck.
The main lodge has a guest lounge and deck dining areas, which overlook the Sand river. Other facilities include a bar area and traditional open boma, a swimming pool, gym, health spa, library and wine cellar. Twice daily wildlife drives in open 4x4s with professional guides and trackers are available, and guided walking safaris are available on request. Guests at Singita can also choose to take a community tour into neighbouring villages.
