Pontac Manor, set beneath the "Paarl Rock" and surrounded by majestic oak trees, was named by Pierre de Labuschagne, its first owner, on the 5th of August 1723 after his home town of Pontac in the South of France. The Manor House has been lovingly restored to its original Victorian splendour and offers its guests the chance to relax on the large Victorian veranda with a magnificent view of the Gardens and the Paarl Valley. The hotel has 22 individually decorated rooms, all equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. The award-winning 'Restaurant at Pontac' is located in the beautifully restored old barn and patrons dine al fresco or inside.
