Strategically placed between Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, Mala Mala is home to the largest concentrations of free roaming elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs, and literally hundreds of other species of wild mammal and bird life. It is a two-hour drive from Kruger Mpumalanga International airport and a five and a half hour drive from Johannesburg. Federal Air also operates a twice-daily shuttle service between Johannesburg airport and Mala Mala. Mala Mala camp is a traditional camp that has been designed in such a way that guests can appreciate the views of the surrounding bushveld. Pathways connect guest accommodations, which comprise eight luxury suites and 10 luxury rooms. Camp facilities include a lounge, dining room and historic bar, a library with satellite television, internet access and DVD player, a large wooden safari deck overlooking the Sand river, an infinity pool, a small gym and a wine cellar stocked with some of South Africa's finest wines. On arrival, visitors are allocated a professional and qualified game ranger who will take care of every aspect of their stay and share an in-depth knowledge of the wild Africa.
