Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve is located in a wilderness area south of the magnificent Cederberg mountains, three hours from Cape Town. The reserve is well known for its scenic beauty and dramatic rock formations typical of the Cederberg and has a rich cultural heritage with hundreds of Bushman / San rock paintings and rock art that is up to 6,000 years old. Accommodation is in five rondavels and 10 'cave suites'; these have a private terrace and are built against the mountain, blending into the surrounding landscape. Activities include game drives and guided walks to see the Bushmen paintings and learn about their ancient culture. The reserve also has a telescope for viewing the stars and planets in the clear night skies.
