Beaumont House is an early 20th century property set in Cape Town's exclusive, leafy suburb of Claremont, just below the slopes of Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. Elegantly restored, it lies in secluded, landscaped gardens, with views of both Table Mountain and False Bay.
The hotel has five suites, all with separate baths and showers, and three have a private patio or balcony. The décor ranges from specially commissioned furniture and contemporary light fittings to antiques and Murano chandeliers. In room facilities include air conditioning, under floor heating, satellite TV, DVD player, WIFI access, safe and tea / coffee facilities.
The hotel's facilities include a freshwater pool, guest lounge and library. Whilst breakfasts are served in the breakfast room or on your private terrace, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant or bar as the surrounding has many excellent eating and drinking options. Despite it being so close to Cape Town, the hotel is very tranquil making it a wonderful place to relax after exploring the city and its attractions.
