The Ndzehi Forest is an area of primary rainforest with high densities of both western lowland gorillas and chimpanzees. Habituated western lowland gorilla groups can be tracked on foot and observed in their natural environment.
An area in the Odzala-Kokoua National Park called Lango Bai (open forest) is a magnet for many forest mammal and bird species such as forest elephants, forest buffaloes, sitatungas, bongos and diverse primates.
