Situated on the eastern side of Etosha, bordering Fisher’s Pan, Onguma Tented Camp is a 14-bed tented camp, built around an active waterhole. The seven spacious tents extend the u-shaped design, allowing for both privacy and fantastic views. The main guest area also overlooks the waterhole and includes a reception area, lounge, dining room as well as a rim flow swimming pool. Every comfort is attended to and the bush-chic styling ensures guests are cocooned in luxury. Under-canvas romance abounds.
Onguma Private Nature Reserve has more than 20,000 hectares of protected land and wildlife. The nature reserve features more than 30 different animal species, including plains wildlife such as kudu, giraffes, eland, oryx, hartebeest, zebras, impalas, which roam freely, as well as predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, these being common in the area. The latest addition to the already abundant wildlife at Onguma Nature Reserve is a family of black rhinos. More than 300 bird species can also be viewed here.
