Accommodation rating: Good Standard

Okaukuejo is located 17km from the southern entrance of Etosha National Park and is famous for its floodlit waterhole, where you can observe a spectacle of wildlife congregating and interacting at close quarters. Accommodation is comprised of 102 chalets of five varieties that differ in location, size and facilities. The camp is operated by the park authorities and facilities are therefore generally of a lower standard than those of a privately run lodge. However, the extraordinary wildlife encounters on offer here more than make up for any lack of luxury. Features: 102 rooms, 3 swimming pools, restaurant, bar, lounge, curio shop, Wi-Fi. Room amenities: Vary with room category but all have: private bathroom, air conditioning, kettle and fridge.
