Kwessi Dunes, NamibRand Nature Reserve

Entirely solar powered, Kwessi Dunes Lodge is a boutique retreat within the NamibRand Nature Reserve. The property encompasses 15,000 hectares of exclusive desert wilderness. Guests are surrounded by distant mountains, open skies, red dunes, and arid plains roamed by antelope.

At the lodge’s main building there is a swimming pool, library, bar, restaurant, and campfire seating area. Accommodation comprises 12 stylish thatch-roofed chalets. Amenities include vintage four-poster beds, air-conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers.
