Set against a small hill on the dry Aba-Huab River, Doro Nawas has spectacular views of the Etendeka Mountains to the north and the red sandstone cliffs of Twyfelfontein to the south. The camp consists of 16 thatched units built with natural stone, with canvas walls and wood and glass doors. Each unit has an en suite bathroom, outdoor shower and a private verandah. Nature drives in the surrounding area will introduce you to the stunning landscapes and wildlife of Damaraland which includes oryx, kudu, springbok and possibly desert elephant and rhinoceros. Guests can also get a glimpse into Africa's past with a visit to the continent's largest collection of prehistoric rock art at nearby Twyfelfontein.
